What is a Process?

This article is brought to you by the tenth Blaugust 2020 Promtapalooza topic presented by the awesome blogger paeroka over at Nerdy Bookahs: What’s your process when creating a blog post?

Ha! Defined process and blogging don’t exactly belong in the same sentence for me. My normal week days are so scheduled and routine that I just can’t be driven to take the same approach when it comes to the hobbies I do for fun. I need a break from all the structure, dammit!

The vast majority of my articles are triggered by events within the blogging community, including this one. After that comes me babbling at my leisure about the media I enjoy consuming, and/or whatever topics I need to vent about.

I write posts whenever the inspiration strikes me, either on my laptop or fancy new desktop computer. Usually a cat or two interrupts me while I’m writing, and I’m totally okay with that!

Oh and one quirk of mine is I usually come up with amusing-to-me post titles first, and then write the article around that title.

Ultimately, blogging gives me the glorious opportunity to release a lot of my pent-up emotions and express myself in written form. I can’t really contain that in a set process, if that makes any sense at all.

This post is proudly part of the Blaugust Promptapalooza 2020 blogging community event created by the badass Belghast!
